Jack Appleman, author of 10 Steps to Successful Business Writing (2008, ASTD Press), has taught thousands of individuals to write more productively through the proven methods addressed in his book—Amazon’s second top seller in its category.  His writing workshops and coaching programs before major corporations have consistently earned outstanding evaluations. He also offers one-on-one coaching to help individuals write powerful resumes, cover letters and other business documents.

 

The president of SG Communications (www.sgwriting.com), Jack is an award-winning writer who brings more than 20 years' experience as a corporate trainer and PR specialist.  He speaks frequently on writing skills and has published hundreds of articles, including "Business writing training can boost productivity" in Human Resource Executive Magazine. Jack is also an adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson and William Paterson and holds the Certified Business Communicator designation from the Business Marketing Association.  He earned his M.S. in Journalism from Ohio University and his M.A. in Communication from Ohio State University. Jack currently serves as President of NNJ-ASTD.
